When visitors click over from an email, advertisement, or other digital destination, they “land” on a standalone web page known as a landing page. A landing page’s goal is to gather contact information in exchange for something useful, like a retail discount code or business-to-business (B2B) insights presented as a white paper. In contrast to other web pages, landing pages don’t belong in a website’s regular navigation. They provide a certain function for a specified demographic at a particular time during a marketing campaign.
